Norwalk ‘hard seltzer’ maker has first flavor under AB InBev

Norwalk-based SpikedSeltzer is launching Ventura Lemon, the first new flavor of its “hard” seltzer since the company’s 2016 sale to Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Ventura Lemon will be available in six-packs this spring, and will be by summertime to SpikedSeltzer’s 12-can variety packs.

SpikedSeltzer was founded in 2013 by Nick Shields and Dave Holmes, with the company having its main office in South Norwalk. Last month, AB InBev described SpikedSeltzer as “gaining momentum” as it tapped the giant’s distribution network.
