U.S. stock futures were higher this morning. The Nasdaq is up about 10 percent for 2018 and closed at a record high Monday. The Dow and S&P 500 are coming off losing sessions, and are well below their most recent all-time highs set on January 26. (CNBC)

Qualcomm (QCOM) stock was lower after Broadcom's (AVGO) attempt to buy it was blocked by President Donald Trump, citing national security concerns. Broadcom said it disagrees with Trump's contention, and that it is reviewing the presidential order. (CNBC)

U.S. Steel (X) raised its full-year earnings forecast, citing President Trump's imposition of tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. The company now expects earnings of $885 million for this year, compared to its prior forecast of $685 million. (Reuters)

* OECD urges 'dialogue' on steel overcapacity to avoid a trade war (CNBC)

The fate of today's Wall Street session could well be determined by the 8:30 a.m. ET release of the February Consumer Price Index, and whatever sentiment it sparks regarding the Fed's future interest rate moves. Consensus forecasts call for 0.2 percent increases in both the headline number and the ex-food and energy rates. (CNBC)

During an event Monday, President Trump said once again he wanted a "phase two" of the tax cuts on top of the law Republicans passed in December. He previously joked about "phase two" while speaking to GOP lawmakers in February. (CNBC)

Larry Kudlow, CNBC senior contributor and longtime economist, is the leading contender to head Trump's National Economic Council and would take the job if offered it, CNBC's Jim Cramer reported. The president has not formally offered the job.

Airlines have canceled more than 700 Boston flights scheduled for today ahead of another strong winter storm that's threatening to dump more than a foot of snow on the Northeast. Saudi Aramco is increasingly looking to just float locally, as plans to list on an international exchange hang in the balance, Reuters reported, citing sources close to the matter. On Monday, it was reported its IPO could be delayed until 2019. (CNBC)

Alphabet (GOOGL) CEO Larry Page's autonomous flying taxi company unveiled its commercial plane called Cora late yesterday. In 2016, Page invested in two flying car start-ups. One of those was Kitty Hawk, which is developing Cora. (CNBC)

STOCKS TO WATCH

Stitch Fix (SFIX) reported quarterly profit of two cents per share, missing the consensus estimate of six cents. The personal shopping and clothing provider did see revenue come in above Street forecasts, and posted a 31 percent year-over-year increase in active clients.

The Finnish government took a 3.3 percent stake in Nokia (NOK) for a little over $1 billion. Solidium – which is the government's investment arm – said it believes the investment in Finland's largest company will be a good one, and that Solidium was not seeking a seat on the telecom equipment maker's board.

Microsoft (MSFT) was the target of 238 discrimination and harassment complaints by women between 2010 and 2016, according to court documents made public on Monday.

General Electric (GE) eliminated bonuses for senior executives last year for the first time in its 126-year history. The company said it is holding leaders accountable for performance, during a year where operating profit fell 11 percent.
