I'll have to thank BackTrax for the teriyaki marinade idea. He gave me the brine recipe and mentioned that he thought a teriyaki marinade would work. It's much easier to pour a pre-mixed marinade out of a bottle, and I like it even better than the brine. There's something about the teriyaki that kills the "fishy" taste and smell.
I started using it on salmon and it's amazing. I experimented with catfish the other day. I'll just put it this way, it's either good or bad for my catfish loving friends? Good in the fact that learning another way to prepare my catch makes me want to catch them even more. Bad in the fact that I'm going to be consuming more, might not be as many left to ship. lol (don't worry, I'll still send you as many as you care to have.)
