(OTCBB:IVOC - News), a leader in speech recognition technology today announced a major upgrade to bConvergent's OpenVoice(TM) software which enables users calling into an OpenVoice based IP telephone system to use natural language to simply "say the name" of the person, department or product they are looking for and have OpenVoice route the call using their spoken commands.

OpenVoice(TM) is an open standard, voice-over-IP telephony software application which enables end-users to purchase and install telephones and gateways from multiple manufacturers and install them on a single network. Advanced telephony features which are included as standard "out-of-the-box" features in OpenVoice(TM) include inter-office calling via TCP/IP, unified messaging (integrated voicemail/email), find-me/follow-me calling, tele-worker support, disaster recovery and much more. bConvergent used iVoice's market leading speech-to-text technology to transform OpenVoice's voice-mail and auto-attendant system into a robust Unified Messaging Server with speech-enabled auto-attendants.
