Trading groups use it also to warn to get out of a stock they have been pumping with no takers and the stock takes a tumble. Found alot of tweets about it where one was saying I did a 911 trade why didn't you see it etc. Best to stay away from those low volume trades with 911 I see it I bail and wouldn't you know it the flood gates open and they all start running for the exit. Peace out, never by a stock because someone is hyping it, they use capital letters only in their name or posts, better safe than sorry.

Do your own DD and you will be fine learn to chart look for stocks with decent volume daily and buy and sell according to what the stock tells you, other than that its a BS been in this thing (online trading) since 1998 same game different players. Learn to trade and trade the chart, screw the news, if your in by your charts and volume picks up because of pending news ride till volume slows a bit then bail, do not wait for the news some may take off but the overwhelming majority do not 95% of the time the stock drops on the news.

Never listen to hypers I am holding my shares I am buying more blah blah blah, who in their right mind would spout their personal financial business on a message board, no one. They are screaming so others by their BS.

Good luck to you.

PS buy stocks in solid companies that already make money and that money is increasing, And read all the filings and take note of convertible debt and when those shares will be coming out the convertible debt due date, one of the most important things in filings. Go to Invetorpedia and bookmark it so you can search anything you do not understand in filings, they are the most important, news is last.

And if you knew of a sweet stock that would be going up, would scream it from the rooftops, "Hey I just found gold over here, there is a pile of it" no you wouldn't common sense. GL
