All it takes is someone to agree to sell at a lesser amount and someone to buy those shares. All the buyers of the higher price are just holding their shares at that higher price. Watch the trade volume and you'll get the hang of it. Trip zero stocks are a very confusing (manipulative) place to start if you are trying to learn. Read my post 38582 from an hour ago before you invest too much.
