Uh, didn't this issue already get addressed? (the finding that only those that held shares at a specific point in time get compensated) That holding was improper. The actual legal rule is that the rights and value inherent in any stock share transfers with the sale of said share. And thus - any value attributed to a share would be the property of the current owners.
