All of these "loans" go to one thing - paying Carl his "salary".

These loans aren't enough to cover business expenses.

Carl gets his salary & customary health benefits, as they call it, from these loans.

When Steve Muzi worked for them (before he resigned), his salary & health insurance was paid from the loans as well.

Rule #1 is never lose money.

Rule #2 is never forget Rule #1.
