In the recent radio broadcast about a month ago the CEO said they still hadn’t started yet due to legal issues relating to verifying age of customer via an app. They purchased vehicles 6 months ago or maybe more. Maybe someone can confirm current status. This sounds to me like a solvable problem, which raises concerns given the delay. Eg, just have drivers check ID on site, or have customers text photo of ID and keep on file etc while completing the app (which itself shouldn’t take nearly this long on this one issue). Bottom line, if as I suspect there is a fix for this they need to implement ASAP. This would be a “no excuse” delay, unlike the unavoidable delays due to licensing issues, which the company dealt with effectively. Perhaps there is a deeper problem but Frank didn’t allude to anything else in the interview.
