The underlying purpose of whistleblower protection laws is to allow EMPLOYEES to stop, report, or testify about employer actions that are illegal, unhealthy, or violate specific public policies.
EMPLOYEES!!!
Shareholders and interested parties are not whistleblowers because they are not EMPLOYEES of a company thought to be doing something wrong.
Yes, we can submit "whistleblower complaints" against a company, any company, but IMO, whistleblowers.org will not pursue such claims of wrongdoing UNLESS the person submitting the claims is a EMPLOYEE.
I don't know of any EXMT employee posting here that might legitimately submit a claim to whistleblowers.org.
Me thinks if a shareholder or anyone else that is not an EMPLOYEE of the company, submits information that the company or management personnel of the company is doing something wrong or illegal, that information is likely be filed in a "circular file" in a corner of their office.
Note: the term Whistleblower originated regarding fraud, waste, and mismanagement of government organizations and contractors supporting government organizations.
