We don't really know what's going on behind the closed doors, Chemist. We do not know what offers were made if any. Someone may know, but not us, retail. It's just a guessing game, a pure conjecture to assume if any deals would be made this year or not.
What I'm puzzled with is TL has not been able to close any deal re: those 4 franchises he talked about last Fall. Why? Now he did a secondary that netted $20M or so. Their cash burn was about the same rate per Q, correct? Thus, the cash issue will not go away. They just kicked the can down the road for three more months. Then what?
They need a deal with a cash upfront, however you spin it. Or need to raise this summer at the latest.
Although I've been expecting a new CEO, I hope they do find one be the meeting. Would be a great sign if a reputable CEO is hired with a good track record in the industry. Not just some guy.
I was intrigued by the volume spike yesterday, but not sure of see anything today or tomorrow. Likely someone covered. If some news was leaked, we would see a follow through today. So far, just a head fake.
