The companies you quoted were NOT all in Chapter 7 bankruptcy, but still all had their common equity wiped out. GM, for instance, was a Chapter 11, but existing common shareholders were all eliminated and new shares in the new company were issued to debtors and creditors. Sbarro went through Chapter 11 TWICE, and again, all ownership was ceded to debtors.

In Chapter 11 bankruptcies, the majority of common shareholders are still eliminated, but in Chapter 7 bankruptcies, 99.9% of common shareholders lose everything. I suggest you do some more research and learn a bit more about how bankruptcy works.

The same is happening here. RCPIQ common shareholders have ZERO chance of recovery.
