09:25 AAPL Apple Computer: Other studios will have content on iTunes in the next six months, but not likely before the holidays - Piper Jaffray (74.63 )

Piper Jaffray notes that while Disney feature films are available on iTunes, other studios have not yet made similar moves. They believe there are three key reasons why other studios are taking their time in opening up film libraries to iTunes: 1) "retailiation," 2) copy protection issues, and 3) a desire to have a flexible pricing model vs. standard pricing. The firm's checks lead them to believe other studios will have content on iTunes in the next six months, but not likely before the holidays.
