Now look back 4 weeks prior to that week. Notice after every spike (which was trending lower) there was selling.
Now look back at 2017, you will see the same trend. This is my theory and why I don't like companies using there shares as money. Someone is always selling at the share holders expense.
Another observation: I also found it extremely gratuitous for the stock that the company put out a "letter to shareholders" just as the stock was getting near a buck. It'll be interesting to see if that happens again.
