Ombow, Wow, 36 hours without power is a long time. We had some strong winds here (Phila area) and some snow, but not too bad. New England really got nailed. I guess it pays to have a portable power generator, may not need it often but when you do it's a life saver. The thought of long power outages always brings to mind the EMP/Electromagnetic Pulse idea. Yikes, a real nightmare.

Concerning Trump, if the Dems had run someone other than Hillary/Hildebeast, I probably wouldn't have rolled the dice on the egomaniac Donald. One of the few I like is Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, but she's not a war monger so isn't likely to get any traction with the Deep State.

Speaking of the Deep State, they have never been thrilled with the idea of Hillary, just too much baggage and past criminal activity. They'd rather have a fresh face like Obama. Based on Webster Tarpley's info, a faction within the Deep State favored Trump as the better of two bad choices, even though he's an outsider. They see him as disposable, and under constant impeachment pressure they can get him to do their bidding. As we know, Trump is surrounded by ex-Goldman Sachs advisors.

Being disposable, the Deep State can also have Trump take the fall for the big collapse that transitions us to the SDR/Special Drawing Rights reserve system.
