you are leaving out 80% of the essence of the market, which is psychology. Nobody would ever invest in the stock market if they followed your arcane concepts. Go with the Herd, actually be ahead of the Herd, be where the herd is gonna go, and you will make tons of money, that and buy great management. PS: I sold my entire huge ownership of fcx on february 28th. Margin debt is at an all time high at this very moment, a sure fire precursor to a huge retrenchment. Throw in seasonality, and you all should have sold in february. Gonna get much worse as these market rollovers and changes in fundamental sentiment, take time.
