By now, ImageWare‘s GoVerifyID platform is well established, and so the company has taken the opportunity of this year’s Mobile World Congress to show off how it’s being used by partners including SAP and Fujitsu. Those are some pretty big names in the enterprise services sector, and in his show floor interview with FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill, ImageWare Product Management Director for Mobile Mark Virnig explains what makes the platform so appealing.
Key to that is its flexibility, with the solution able to support “virtually any biometric technology”; and a good example of this is its recent integration of support for palm image scanning, which Virnig says has “turned out to be a very popular technology and technique” thanks to its unobtrusiveness and security. Looking ahead, Virnig says that the company is looking to integrate webcam support for that modality as well as facial recognition to bring more security to Windows desktops, pointing to the continuing evolution of GoVerifyID.
