AMD is down a 1.00 or so and INTC is holding steady with a penny or 2 up. but since last Friday AMD has dropped 2 bucks?? I cant find any really significant news ???

The interesting part of it was that the stock was on steady decline to around $23, when in the last 45 minutes of trading, 9 million shares traded. There were some buyers at this level trying to put a floor on the slide. Naturally there were sellers as well, but the stock remained around $23. I cant help but figure it has to do with arbitrage concerning the ATI deal. Can't work out the specifics. Otherwise it may have been technical related, as AMD's moving averages are being crossed to the downside. Today the 50 day MA was the focus. Less likely, a very late warning or other bad news.
