Thanks, My wife is diabetic but she is active all day and basically pretty healthy. I have Emphysema stage 4 and been that way for about 10 years. I also have prostate cancer but is slowly advancing.

My question is protein ? I almost died last June from complications from Emphysema but lucked out being in this hospital with doctors doing advanced treatments for E. They saved me but is took two weeks of intense care then 6 week in a nursing home to get back home.

I lost 20 pounds down to 155 and weak as a kitten. I started drinking protein milkshakes to try an rebuild my strength. Prostate cancers thriven protein but maybe not fruits and nuts.
