to be distributed nationwide any products over the hemp definition of .3% thc will have to route through the FDA. The path through the FDA has very high barriers of entry. THC has negative side effects of encouraging the lower appetites for food and desires of the sexual nature which even out the playing field in my opinion. so it is somewhat of a mute discussion on which is better cbd products with trace thc or cbd products with higher thc levels. The bottom line is cbd products with trace thc levels will be the ones on the shelf in indiana and idaho and kentucky etc. etc. ones that have over trace amounts of thc will have to route through the fda to be distributed nationwide.

products with more than trace thc will most likely not be available nationwide over the counter or off the shelf in the next 10-20 years. the political climate and the situation with international treaties just wont allow it. those products very well may be available via a doctors prescription though.

many states like colorado and oregon and washington are regretful in some ways of legalizing higher thc products. for example colorado has had a massive influx in population and not necessarily the good kind. washington and oregon business in the market for higher thc products are being taxed to death; they cannot get any tax breaks from the federal government and the state and local taxes are killing them. there is major overproduction and many are losing fortunes with one stroke of the pen by the local city councils. nevada is really the only shining star i have seen for high thc product legalization.
