griff - i too tried to buy pgwc on ameritrade, ameritrade feels they have a fiduciary responsibility not to let you buy certain stocks. But if you own them you can sell them, just not buy anymore.

Major broker allowing only sells and not buys, think that puts some downward pressure on a stock, seems pretty crooked IMO.

Ameriprise is not any better either. I am in the process of leaving them to switch to Ameritrade. I am starting to think they both suck though

Anybody how is Scotttrade?
