And there it is! The certified module is the router and it’s designed and built by another company. that’s why the ATT logo is on it! It belongs to them and it was built by WNC. The part that didn’t make it into this PR is that there is more than one group working on SIM cards. Misleading? You be the judge. Seems perfectly legal to put out a self promoting PR, but you really have to put on your critical thinking cap here and use some common sense. Also from what I saw on Friday it looks like they just now applied for a patent within the last 3 weeks which can take years to obtain. And people need to be careful about confusing a trade mark with a patent. “Johnny Football” had like 500 trademarks for variations of his name, but he didn’t last more than two years as a pro QB. Gotta get real here and break down the hype.
