Camanà, Peru Project Details
GPGC will install solar panels backed by wind or natural gas technology. They will provide engineering for the site, site preparation, transmission connection (including poles), control centers for each site and backup hardware to maintain 24/7 operation.
The renewable energy installations will have a capacity of 30 MW. Power production will be 38,299,986 kilowatts (kW) per year. Using the low end of our range – 19 cents per kilowatt hour billing, this produces more than $7,276,998 in revenue per year. The PPA is for 25 years, so this equates to over $181,924,950 in revenue over the course of the PPA. Using conservative calculations, it is estimated that the annual operating expenses will be approximately $1,500,000 per year, or just over $37,000,000 over the course of 25 years.
All the calculations will be verified against final engineering plans by the end of January 2018, at which time a financial plan and financial partners will officially be announced.
