According to official county documents (from Limestone County, TX), the property is about 15 acres. It has an assessed value of about $71,000 (yet Kim is charging KBLB over $92,000 for an 8-year lease - and I am sure that he will continue to charge them after the 8 year lease is up).

One thing that I find very curious is that KBLB planted 2000 mulberry trees on that property in Mar 2017, and they were supposed to harvest them in the Fall 2017, but we never heard anything about that. It makes me wonder, what happened?

"On January 23, 2017 the Company signed a lease with a related party for land in Texas. The Company pays $960 per month starting on February 1, 2017 and uses this facility to grow mulberry for its U.S. silk operations."

I love how it says that KBLB signed a release with "a related party". LOL.

On January 23, 2017 the Company signed an 8 year property lease with the Company’s President. The Company pays a monthly rent of $960. Rent expense – related party for the three months ended March 31, 2017 and 2016 was $1,920 and $0, respectively (See Note 7).
