I think it safe to say that the vast majority of outstanding shares are locked up or salted away, as some would say. The shares that are traded daily are from a pool of shares representing a tiny portion of the float. That pool is the shares that get traded day after day and are the SAME shares from day to day. That's why share price has little meaning during these times.
