Let’s say, for easy math, they have 20,000 machines X 500 = 10,000,000$ a month. So yes, you can make a lot of money.
How much does it cost to run said machines each month?
Each machine uses 1.6 kilowatts an hour divided by .95 (the efficiency rate of electricity). So the equation will look like this.
20,000 machines X 1.6/.95 X 24 hours X 30 days X .04 (rate of electricity per kilowatt hour - Quebec prices - some of the cheapest in the world - hence it being there)
This equals 907,105 dollars a month to run 20,000 machines. So it’s about a 90% profit margin between money generated and the cost of electricity. This equation is the same weather you have a 1000 machines or a 100,000 machines.
Look at these.
