All crazy talk from people who no doubt have private interest. The government doesn't need too be in the real estate business or any business at all as they are all ready bankrupt the nation and don't know beans about running a business that can sustain itself. Even with all the tax revenue we can't keep our heads above water. If we don't get this economy cooking all the dollars in the world aren't going too help. Why would we want more GSEs doing what they are doing? What a mess that would have been in 2008. The only thing that needs fixing in investment banks in MBS market. These companies where and are the envy of the world. We need too fix legislation that broke them after sixty years of success. We need safe guards that prevent banks from making crappy loans too anybody with a heart beat.
