OTCM works for the companies that list on OTC. OTCM is just a website that facilitates OTC trading. FINRA and the SEC control all stock tickers as far as regulations. OTCM placed a warning to protect investors because of suspicious activity and or missing information. Every company was informed thier listing policies would change January 2018 and were given a list of new rules for listing on OTC. OTCM made the changes because all the investors being scammed by fraudulent companies trading in OTC. They now require each company be more transparent. This was done to protect investors and try and clean OTC up making it a better place to trade. The rules are the same for all companies listed.
