If that hypothesis proves to be right, the shorts will continue to double and triple down as the price moves up.

That, in theory, would further make a short squeeze that much more painful to those shorting it.

See, the street thinks Mannkind is a dead company walking. They believe the company will go bankrupt and that their short is secure.

I'm still waiting for Mannkind to prove them wrong and prove Afrezza can be the blockbuster drug many of us think it could be.
