We used to throw our rifles on our backs as teens and ride down to the river to shoot, never a problem. Heck, some of my friends carried their rifles on the bus with them, there were part of their high school shooting team. Seriously, the MSM is a huge part of this problem. They sought to make it serious, covered it night and day, running it daily for weeks after an event, and then write how big a problem it is as idiots desire to be like the scum the MSM made so famous.
