Game, Set and Match. I will tell you why knowing if a C&D was sent is important. In the scams that I have followed the first signs of it being a scam was when the finger pointing started. Each executive, or person involved in signing off on anything began pointing the finger at the other person. "It's his fault this didn't work out." They start backing away from deals and trying to cover evidence. A C&D is the first thing a scammer will do to try to distance himself and make it look like he was the victim.

In cases like this, each side was just as guilty but they both have a predetermined plan to point the finger at each other if anything goes wrong. This causes confusion and doubt in the mind of anyone wanting to persue legal action.
