Amtech notes that AAPL will report its Sept qtr on Oct 18, and they believe the co will report results at the upper-end -- if not exceed -- guidance. Firm anticipates continued strength in its Mac business and a rebound in its iPod biz. For the Dec qtr, firm believes that AAPL will likely guide conservatively given its preference in setting reasonable expectations and tough Y/Y iPod comparisons.

As usual, firm finds sell-side consensus out-quarter rev ests unreasonably aggressive. With a potential soft reset in Dec qtr ests, they think AAPL shares will likely see a pull-back. Maintains Buy, and advises investors to take advantage of this weakness and aggressively buy AAPL in the high-$60s.
