Boy am I glad I'm not the nail cuz u sure hit that one on the head....
...
Noticed that my hint about "a reason" (possible) why they refused to answer a perfectly valid legitimate & potentially hugely important question, was not ignored. I tried too, to get an answer from them. The persistence shown with this, which I admire, helped it kick in to me that hey, wait a second.....I've read up plenty on this also as well as what was graciously posted here, and I start thinking....why?....why would they not answer such an important question?.......and then that leads me to whoa...what if the original voip, not Voip-Pal, but voip itself, patents, had such designations? ....after all, what would need them more than voip protocols themselves???
.
Of course that brings up even more implications, if indeed the case, which I'll keep to myself for now. But yeah, like I've been saying for a long time and for many other different reasons.....something is very fishy in Dunkirk... There are certain basic tenets in psychology. One is that people tend, very strongly, to say or theorize or explain things in a way that best and most conveniently suits their cause. It's like when it's not hard to connect many or even most of the dots, but not all of them, and so what do they do with the couple extra dots that dont connect? Well, they have choices...they can erase the extra dots or they can force connect them even if they don't line up, and other similar tactics. Whatever it takes to come up smelling like a rose. That's usually more important than the total unabridged truth. It's so easy to posit that vplm didn't answer the question about SEP/FRAND because it's more of that "frivilous-ness" we keep hearing about....not important....more fodder for ridicule. But it's not easy for me to, because it sounds important enough to me, to not ignore it. They made protocols & SEP & FRAND because voip and extentions of voip are too important and basic common sense says to me that basic patents alone, are not enough to obtain, contain & retain, so much control over the entire worldwide digital communications network. And I had a sense of that all along but when that initial post with "SEP" in it popped up, it sure got my attention. As we began to discuss it, I think there was 1 person who had something to say about it and basically blew it off as non-applicable. I didn't buy that, least not that easy and I know you don't either. As shareholders, it should be followed up on, but they (BOD) don't seem to want to reply about it. It wouldn't be hard or too much to ask, for a simple explanation even it is to say they've looked into it and blah blah blah, but no answer & no interest might be very TELLING. The very nature of SEP/FRAND, as much as I can wrap my head around it, tells me that nothing could be more needy of it than voip and voip extentions, by their very nature. Thankyou for the real DD. There is a reason why a company goes on for 20 yrs, calling itself "the industry leader" when no one else does, with allegedly industry controlling patents, but no one ever wants them, and they never make any money from business or products but make plenty of shares and sell plenty of shares. You simply dont leave a mountain of gold lying around in the middle of the street, but they have, so maybe it's fools gold? I'm a shareholder and I want vplm ship to come in as much as anyone, but that's not gonna leave me with blinders on as these things come up.
