So you expect the regulators to do the DD for you and warn you that you made a foolish investment and the stock you bought is a scam. AND warn you in advance so you can sell your POS shares to the greater fool who either doesn't understand the message or never received it?

For what you want to work, you will have to be able to sell your shares to someone else. So you stick them with the bill.

The government is not in the business of helping some citizens to defraud other citizens.
