I know I've posted this before, but after a while we see new folks and I feel like it needs to be repeated.
They say the Cancer Research is " on the shelf " until they get a partner. But what they should really just go ahead and admit is, there would be parters coming out of the woodwork if they could get a patent.
Without the security of a patent, NOBODY is going to put money into this. That would be stupid. Everybody would just " knock off " your technology.
Don't think that statement needs a JMO after it.
