1. What is GTS?
In order to ensure the follow-up of the fertilizers supplied to the market from the packaging stage to the end user; It is a system established to make fertilizers used in the agriculture of the country suitable for the purpose of preventing and counterfeiting and to prevent the forgery, to be used safely and to increase the agricultural productivity in this sense and to prevent the use of the wrong fertilizer and to register the production and consumption of fertilizer.
4. How will DNABarkod ™ be applied?
Manufacturers / Importers will apply the DNA Barcode ™ and data matrix application to the product at the packaging stage. All the products will be identified by matching the data code found in the outer packaging of the product with DNABarkod ™. In solid / granular products, DNABarkod ™ products are sprayed at the filling stage; liquid or powder products in liquid, gel or powder formats before the product is produced in the tank or mixer will be applied.
This process will provide a single traceability (identity) for the fertilizers to be supplied to the market. Each product package / packaging will carry a different code with the application made during the production or filling phase. In this case, the data will be entered into the system by making a unique product identification of DNA Barcode ™. With the DNA barcode ™ in the product, all the information in the system related to the product will be available.
9. Is the DNA Barcode ™ produced domestically or abroad?
