Some people will prefer to grow their own, some people will prefer to buy from a friend, some people will grow a low and genuinely share ounces with their friends because the cost of growing it in a backyard is essentially zero, maybe in have a few friends over for a trimming party, beers and BBQ and trimming buds

a lot of people won't bother with that and will buy from a reputable LP - but the idea that LPs or the police or anything short of a rigid murderous totalitarian regime will wipe out the black market is nonsense.

The government is legalizing cannabis, but at the same time they are handing the best legal protections possible to anyone that wants to be involved in the black market.
