They know that the time will come the politicians or the judges must clarify that fnma question. The current situation is a temp. solution. Its definitly no solution that such an important company ist controlled for ever by the state.

My opinion is, that this motion was driven by the politicians that the laws get a chance to rule it. Thats the easiest way for everybody.

And an other argument to agree is the reason, that Fannie is very stable, the financial sector seems to be stable and Fannie pay back the money from the rescue fund!!!!!
