The International Association of Steam Power, OSU/CAR (OHIO UNIVERSITY) AND Wikipedia say that water lubricated bearings fail.
The poster Molten Salt can not find any documentation that states the Cyclone water lubricated bearings do not fail, and Cyclone has never shown an engine running for 5 minutes.

Thats enough proof for me.
