Maybe I’m reading this wrong, but I tend to disagree, my interpretation of latest nr is they have a hand held device which has positive corresponding data with big ms machine in the lab. That’s good. That’s very good. They are essentially saying they have a device matching the standard held by the current bac testing method. Not the methods of this so called “batmobile”. The science from ms for detecting thc in breath is there, yes? If so, make a handheld machine that spits out same data as big ms machine (which we know and trust), apparently this has also been achieved as per latest nr regarding 3.0. If this is all correct information, the formality of the gov testing, licensing, etc should be a piece of cake no?
The BAC breathalyzer is simply a trusted device used on the side of the road to allow a police officer to confidently say I believe you are intoxicated, you are under arrest for dui, at the station he or she will perform further tests on “big machines” to corroborate their findings on the side of the road. Long winded I know l, but apparently our device does everything I just described. Just a thought.
