I have a somewhat and more optimistic appraisal of the situation. For all its vast natural resources, Bolivia is still the poorest country in s. america. Instead of attributing sinister behavior by new socialist leaders coming to the fore in poor large class difference places such as Venezuela, the politics suggest they are appealing to the masses with a promise to build a middle class in their country. A belief that they were in fact imperial slaves to foreigners who raped the land and gave poor wages to bolivian miners, is what hpoefuuly is the reason the government is receptive to a mining company that has a bolivian who cares for and identifies with his people . Jaime has expressed his governments mandate that corps share the wealth with people. hopefully. It is that promise for a new and exciting life for colombians that makes fmnj an attractive company. If you worry about political upheaval this is not the stock for you. The present government may be around for a long time .No body thought Castro would last and its waht 46 years.
