Report Shows Ties Between Opioid Makers and Patient Groups

An investigation from Senator Claire McCaskill reviewed donations from opioid manufacturers and found nearly $9 million was given to advocacy groups over five years.

Why aren't other countries having an opioid crises like the USA? Because they don't allow direct marketing of drugs to patients, doctors or groups.
