...im 61...born in 1956...so thats my reference point. i can sit here and think about in just the past 61 years that i have been here on planet earth...how technology in all areas of life...medicine...how advanced we have become in just the past 61 years. Now..lets go back another 61 years..to the year 1895..just two lifetimes back of my present age...and think how life has changed here on planet earth...i mean...its a totally different world as far as how technology and medicine has advanced..right. But lets think on something that has not changed...and that is SIN. We look at the world today and the tragic events that happen from crime and murder...the threats from other countries and groups...but you know what folks. In the grand scheme of the universe...as bad as it is today....we really have become at least a little more civilized as the way it was looking back in time. i mean...when we study Biblical history...when we study secular history...this world and human kind has always been screwed up and in the past...the goings on each and everyday..was in fact often times horrific. Look from Biblical times to present day the wars and persecution that took place where millions of people have died....the famines and pestilence when millions of people died...humans have always been more that ready to kill...maim and disable each other...to bring pain and suffering to each other and for a great many reason and im pretty sure...just like today...humans greatest downfall is SIN! All the problems of the world come from SIN! So...whats the answer...what is going to change humans and the world...well...most of you know the answer to that question and that is JESUS...however...im thinking from Bible prophecy...that is not going to happen until the Rapture and the Tribulation takes place and Jesus sets up His kingdom here on earth for the 1000 years of the Millennium. All meaning...for the 9000 or so years sense God spoke the earth and heavens into creation and Adam and Eve committed the first sin..we as humans really are a screwed up bunch. So..whats a person to do? As born-again believers...whats going on in the world today should not surprise us...we have been warned in the Bible that its going to get bad...so.. Talk to God..find your blessed assurance in Him....He still has a perfect plan and purpose in all of it as we are told in Bible prophecy...and...the victory has already been won that day on Calvary when Jesus died for the SINS of the world...trust Him knowing that in the end..no matter how bad it gets...and..its going to get bad. We as born again believers...we win...and are rewarded with a home in heaven!
