In what sense? From what Ive seen and experienced, Its cool if your just buying for long term and just want to grab a bunch and not care about the volaltility. If you want to trade, it sucks bc of the delay of the buys, you can never get the price you want. Coinbase owns GDAX which is similar to a brokerage account, instant buying and selling at the price you want, which is better for trading the "big 4." Gdax is super easy to use. There is also binance, which is great for trading alot of the alt coins as well but for me there was a bit of a learning curve to it.

Its important that you take poster Ramiels advice and put all coins you plan on keeping long term in an offline wallet. I use trezor wallet. Im still learning everyday. Hope this helps.
