I asked her as to why we have not heard anything in weeks and her reply was adequate in stating that the audit is taking a lot of their time therefore minimal response to emails were noted.

Honestly, IMO, this was the response I was looking for and received. Ppl can dissect and depict every word or sentence but its not the case.

This is just my opinion.
