I recall buying in at <$3 and thinking.. well it's certainly overvalued, but it's worth a shot. At this stage there's nothing but vulnerability - it would be delusional to think otherwise. The international market would have to be substantial (huge, really) to sustain the valuation we have now because I don't think the domestic demand will materialize nearly as well as optimists predict (due to everything you mention).

For some reason I recall you being far more optimistic about Canopy's prospects a year ago. I have personally been suspicious about the prospects vs. the black market from the get go, even as I bought in. How is Canopy/Ontario gov't going to dissuade me from buying an ounce of very nice stuff for $200-220?
