i just can't believe these handful of assholes are the only thing standing in the way of Canadian people just being able to do what they want - and we pay them for the service!

The senate is completely broken, Justin Trudeau ought to do something to these guys....but what can he do? I don't understand enough about it, it don't make any sense to me

you can't blame these people, they got no real power, got a position for life, can't get fired - it is the perfect job. If I were a senator I would milk it for all its worth for damn sure
