All the budget talks, debt, and spending and as much of an impact the twins have in the past and most likely in the future I am surprised that they aren't mentioned in some other then major contributors too the housing crisis. Guess they are used as a utility so they should be officially. So does that mean they will trade on the market as any other company? Just keeps getting stranger. What great lengths we will go too protect derivatives at the expense of the economy. Everyone else pays for the gamble of a few. How crazy is that. Maybe there is a place in the market for them but not with the backing of tax payers. Banks may have paid fines but continue too reap derivative rewards should be head lines.
