Max... you have nailed it !

Fuels cells are great in remote areas with weak grids, or very high power costs. Hawaii, Guam, Samoa, some third world countries, but those places can't always afford the expensive up front costs of a fuel cell, further limiting their share.

Fuels cells have a very limited niche where they make sense, and the Northeast is not one of those regions.
