You and I can disagree about the price range for the shares tomorrow, but the prices for my outstanding sell orders are not going to change. Those orders are set to expire in two weeks, but I won't change them, so if the market price doesn't go higher than my trigger price, well, I get to keep the shares and re-price them later, when the market realizes the true value of the stock.
During today's market session, I had an outstanding buy order. If it had filled, I would have increases the number of shares I own by 33%. I have since adjusted that order to give me even more shares at an even lower price, just in case some drunk teenager with a phone and a brokerage account, who bought some shares earlier, panics and wants to get rid of them.
I'll be happy to buy his shares or any other large sets of shares, as long as the price is right.
